Gosh, it's been a while since we posted. I'd use the excuse that we've been busy, but we always say that! So what have we been up to? Well, not much really, except we did take a week off work. We spent it in Yorkshire, and managed a couple of good Walks, plenty of afternoon teas, a little bit of shopping and plenty of relaxing. Trish, Cory and Duncan came to visit for the last two days of the holiday so we introduced them to the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and the delights of Wensleydale cheese.
I want to post lots of photos here, but blogger never likes it when I try to do that. So here is just one, of an amusing couple we saw on our first Walk. We followed them for the first couple of miles, until the route required us to scramble up the waterfall at Gordale Scar. They tried and gave up, then sat and watched us as we managed it and disappeared out of sight over the top. When we reached Malam Cove, 6 miles later, we caught up with them again - and they didn't seem to have much to say to each other!
