Much excitement in the Mosedale houshold last night with the delivery of our first organic veg box - supplied by a local firm and almost all grown on local farms. We've now got leeks, carrots, potatoes, very cute mushrooms and the world's biggest cabbage. And does anyone know a good recipe for swede?
Not only does the veg taste good it adds to my ethical smugness as well - and means I don't have to go to Sainsbury's as often. What more could you ask for?

Not sure what an impression of a swede would look like... Tim was impersonating a butternut squash the other day, but I leave that to your imagination!
I didn't realise they had recipes for swede, I always thought of them as a raw ingredient.
